Intake Manifold Installation

  1. Install a NEW intake manifold gasket (3).
  2. Install the intake manifold (2).
  3. Loosely install the 9 intake manifold bolts (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Tighten the 9 Intake manifold bolts in sequence as shown to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
    5. Fig 3: Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor Wiring Harness Bracket, Fuel Rail Return Pipe Bracket And Bolts

  5. Install the fuel rail return pipe bracket (4).
  6. Install the 2 fuel rail return pipe bracket bolts (3) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  7. Install the fuel rail fuel pressor sensor wiring harness bracket (2).
  8. Install the 2 fuel rail fuel pressor sensor wiring harness bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
