Intake Camshaft Removal

Special Tools

  1. Remove the EN-51143  fixing tool (1), by carefully turning the hexagon of the camshaft.

  3. Remove the camshaft bearing rear cap bolts (1).
  4. Remove the camshaft bearing rear cap (2).

  6. Install the EN-50509  fixing tool (1) to the exhaust camshaft sprocket (2).

  8. Loosen the 8 intake camshaft bearing cap bolts in sequence as shown.

  10. Remove the 8 intake camshaft bearing cap bolts (1).
  11. Remove the 4 intake camshaft bearing caps (2) and lay aside in the order as they was removed.

  13. Remove the intake camshaft (1).
