Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Outlet Pipe Installation

  1. Clean the sealing surfaces of the intake manifold, the exhaust gas recirculation cooler housing and the exhaust gas recirculation cooler outlet pipe.

  2. Install a NEW exhaust gas recirculation cooler outlet pipe seal (3) into the intake manifold.
  3. Install a NEW exhaust gas recirculation cooler pipe gasket (4).
  4. Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler pipe (1).
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Different bolt lengths.

  5. Install the 2 exhaust gas recirculation cooler outlet pipe bolts (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  6. Install the 2 exhaust gas recirculation cooler outlet pipe bolts (5) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
