Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Housing Removal

  1. Remove the 3 charge air bypass valve vacuum hose bracket bolts (2, 4, 5).
  2. Disconnect the charge air bypass valve vacuum hose (1) from the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve.
  3. Unclip the charge air bypass valve vacuum hose retainer clip.
  4. Remove the charge air bypass valve vacuum hose (1).
  5. Remove the charge air bypass valve vacuum hose seal (3).

  6. Remove the 4 exhaust gas recirculation cooler housing bolts (2, 3).
  7. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation cooler housing (1).
  8. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation cooler housing gasket.
