Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Housing Installation

  1. Install the NEW exhaust gas recirculation cooler housing gasket.
  2. Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler housing (1).
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Different bolt length.

  3. Install the 2 exhaust gas recirculation cooler bolts (2) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. Install the 2 exhaust gas recirculation cooler bolts (3) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install a NEW charge bypass valve vacuum hose seal (3).
  6. Install the charge bypass valve vacuum hose (1).
  7. Clip the charge bypass valve vacuum hose (1) into the retainer clip.
  8. Connect the charge bypass valve vacuum hose (1) to the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve.
    9. NOTE:

    Different bolt length.

  9. Install the 2 charger bypass valve vacuum hose bracket bolts (2, 5) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  10. Install the charger bypass valve vacuum hose bracket bolt (4) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
