Camshaft Housing Installation

  1. Install NEW Camshaft Housing Gasket (5) @ Camshaft Housing (4)
  2. Install Camshaft Housing Bolts (2) (Qty: 20) @ Camshaft Housing (4)
  3. Inspect the correct seat of the camshaft housing bolt bushings (3) and the camshaft housing cover insulators (1).

    NOTE:

    Mind the different bolts.

  4. Install the camshaft housing cover (3) along with the camshaft housing gasket (5) and the 20 camshaft housing bolts (1, 2, 4).
  5. Hand tighten Camshaft Housing Bolts (1, 2, 4) (Qty: 20)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  6. Tighten Camshaft Housing Bolts (Qty: 20) in sequence to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

  7. Install Engine Oil Level Indicator (1)
    8. Fig 5: Engine Lift Bracket And Bolt

  8. Install Engine Lift Bracket (2)
  9. Install and tighten Engine Lift Bracket Bolt (1) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  10. Install Engine Lift Brackets (1) (Qty: 2)
  11. Install and tighten Engine Lift Bracket Bolts (2) (Qty: 2) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
