Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify there are no DTCs set related to the following system/component:
    • Reductant System
    • B9 Ambient Air Temperature Sensor
    • B17 Barometric Pressure Sensor
    • B34 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
    • B66 Intake Air Temperature Sensor
    • B75C Multifunction Intake Air Sensor
    • B115 Vehicle Speed Sensor
    • B195 Nitrogen Oxides Sensor
    • Q14 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve
    • Q17 Fuel Injector
    • If a related DTC is set 
    1. Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for further diagnosis.
    2. Clear All Vehicle DTCs
    3. Ignition/Vehicle - Off - For greater than 2 min
    4. Engine - Running
    5. Perform the scan tool control function: Reductant System Tamper Service Bay Test 
    6. Verify the procedure/test passes.
      • If the procedure/test does not pass

        Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

      • If the procedure/test passes

        All OK.

    • Go to next step: If a related DTC is not set 
  2. Verify that DTC P2BAA is not set
    • If the DTC is set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  3. All OK.
