Component Testing
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition Off.
- Remove the KR22 Fuel Heater Relay from X50A Fuse Block-Underhood.
- Test for 70 - 110 Ω between terminals 1 and 2.
- If not between 70 - 110 Ω
Replace the KR22 Fuel Heater Relay.
- Go to next step: If between 70 - 110 Ω
- If not between 70 - 110 Ω
- Test for infinite resistance between the following terminals:
- 3 and 1
- 3 and 5
- 3 and 2
- 2 and 5
- If less than infinite resistance
Replace the KR22 Fuel Heater Relay.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- Install a 20 A fused jumper wire between relay terminal 1 and 12 V.
- Install a jumper wire between relay terminal 2 and ground.
- Test for less than 2 Ω between terminals 3 and 5.
- If 2 Ω or greater
Replace the KR22 Fuel Heater Relay.
- Go to next step: If 2 Ω or less
- If 2 Ω or greater
- All OK
