Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that DTC P018B, P018C, P018D, P0641, P1007, P1029, P102A, P102B, P102C, P1255, P129D, P129F, P12A6, P20CD, P2227, P2228, P2229, P2230, or U18A2 is not set.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Verify scan tool parameters Fuel Pressure Sensor and Desired Fuel Pressure are within 40 kPa (5.8 psi) of each other while operating the vehicle through varying loads.
    • If greater than 40 kPa (5.8 PSI) 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If less than 40 kPa (5.8 PSI) 
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  5. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  6. All OK.
