Circuit/System Verification

Verify that no other DTCs are set.
- If any other DTCs are set
  Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Go to next step: If any other DTCs are not set
Review the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data, the Engine Speed should exceed 5200 RPM.
- If greater than 5200 RPM
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If less than 5200 RPM
Verify there is no engine damage.
- If there is engine damage
  Refer to Symptoms - Engine Mechanical .
- Go to next step: If there is no engine damage
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify DTC P25BD is not set.
- If DTC P25BD is set
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If DTC P25BD is not set
All OK.
