Circuit/System Verification

  1. Verify DTC P0627, P0628, P0629, P1255, P129B, P129C, P12A6, or P2635 is not set
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  2. Verify the proper fuel is used and there is no contamination. Refer to Fuel System Specifications , and Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis .
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
    • If DTC P228A, or P228B is set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If DTC P228A, or P228B is not set 
  4. All OK.
