• The engine is running.
• The barometric pressure is greater than 70 kPa (10.2 psi).
• The ambient air temperature is warmer than -7°C (19.4°F).
• The reductant tank is not frozen.
• Vehicle is not in a DPF regeneration.

The DTC runs when the above conditions are met.
