The reductant temperature sensor is a variable resistor used to measure the temperature inside the reductant tank. The sensor is wired to the reductant control module, which acquires the sensor signal and sends it to the engine control module via serial data. The reductant control module supplies 5 V to the reductant temperature sensor signal circuit and a ground for the low reference circuit.
