Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW throttle body gasket. (2)
  2. Install the throttle body. (1)

  3. Connect the electrical connector. (1)
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  4. Install and tighten Throttle Body Bolts (3) (Qty: 4) to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

  5. Install Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (2) @ Throttle Body. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement 
  6. Install Intake Manifold Cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
  7. When the replacement is completed, use a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset functions. Refer to Control Module References
