Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting seal (6).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting (5).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting bolt (7) to lower crankcase and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting bracket bolt (8) to the engine coolant outlet pipe bracket and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the 2 power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting bolts (4) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose to the turbocharger wastegate actuator vacuum control solenoid valve (2).
- Install Thermostat Bypass Pipe. Refer to Thermostat Bypass Pipe Replacement (LH7)
- Install Engine Coolant Outlet Pipe. Refer to Engine Coolant Outlet Pipe Removal
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting bracket bolt (3) to the exhaust temperature sensor wiring harness bracket (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting (2) to the turbocharger wastegate actuator pipe (1).
- Connect the power brake booster vacuum pipe (2) to the power brake booster inlet hose fitting (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Install Oxidation Catalytic Converter. Refer to Oxidation Catalytic Converter Replacement (LH7)
- Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler housing. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Housing Replacement
- Install the throttle body assembly. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
- Install Intake Manifold Cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
