Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect Battery Negative Cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove Power Transfer Unit Case. Refer to Power Transfer Unit Case Replacement (MHG Transmission with LH7 Engine)
    4. Fig 1: Piston Oil Nozzle Oil Control Solenoid Valve, Bolts And Electrical Connector

  4. Disconnect Electrical Connector (2)
  5. Remove Piston Oil Nozzle Oil Control Solenoid Valve Bolts (1) (Qty: 2)
    6. NOTE:

    Inspect the piston oil nozzle oil control solenoid valve o-rings and replace as necessary.

  6. Remove Piston Oil Nozzle Oil Control Solenoid Valve (3)
