Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove Power Transfer Unit Case. Refer to Power Transfer Unit Case Replacement (MHG Transmission with LH7 Engine)
    4. Fig 1: Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve, Bolt And Electrical Connector

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)
  5. Remove Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve Bolt (3)
  6. Remove Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve (2)
