Installation Procedure

- Install Fuel Injection Fuel Rail (2)
- Install and tighten Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
- Connect Diesel Fuel Separator Hose (3) @ Fuel Injection Fuel Rail
- Install Diesel Fuel Separator Hose Clamp (5)
- Install Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield (2)
- Connect the electrical connector:
- Fuel Pressure Sensor (1)
- Fuel Pressure Regulator (4)
- Install NEW Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipes (1) (Qty: 4)
- Hand Tighten Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipes (1) @ Fuel Injector (Qty: 4)
- Hand tighten Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipes (1) @ Fuel Injection Fuel Rail (3) (Qty: 4)
- Tighten Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipes (1) (Qty: 8) to 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
- Install Fuel Injector Insulator (1)
- Connect Fuel Injector Fuel Return Hose (4) @ Diesel Fuel Separator (2)
- Install a NEW clamp. (3)
- Remove the suitable closure plugs from all connections.
- Install NEW Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (2)
- Hand tighten Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (2) @ Fuel Injection Fuel Rail (3)
- Hand tighten Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (2) @ Fuel Injection Pump (4)
- Tighten Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipes (2) (Qty: 2) to 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
- Install and tighten Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Bracket Bolt (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Install Intake Manifold Cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- If replacing, perform the high pressure fuel correction reset. Refer to High Pressure Fuel Correction Reset
