Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution

  1. Install and tighten Exhaust Temperature Sensor (1) to 45 N.m (33 lb ft)

  2. Install Exhaust Temperature Sensor (1) @ Retainer (2)

  3. Connect Electrical Connector (1) @ Exhaust Temperature Sensor (2)
  4. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  6. If replacing, perform the exhaust gas temperature sensor reset. Refer to Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Reset 
  7. If replacing, perform the NOx catalyst reductant loading reset. Refer to NOx Catalyst Reductant Loading Reset
