Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen Quick Connector Clamp (3)
  2. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose (1) @ Throttle Body (2)
    3. Fig 2: Charge Air Bypass Regulator Solenoid Valve Inlet Tube And Exhaust Gas Recirculation Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve

  3. Remove the charge air bypass regulator solenoid valve vacuum tube (2) from the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve regulator solenoid valve (1).

  4. Disconnect Exhaust Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (2)
  5. Remove Wiring Harness Clips (1, 6) (Qty: 3) @ Bracket (3)
  6. Position aside Exhaust Temperature Sensor - Position 2 (5)
  7. Remove Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Bracket Bolt (4)

  8. Remove and DISCARD Clamps (2) (Qty: 2)
    9. NOTE:

    Mind the different hose diameters.

  9. Remove the 2 exhaust pressure differential sensor hoses (3) from the exhaust pressure differential sensor (1).
  10. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  11. Remove Underbody Front Air Deflector. Refer to Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement (Equinox)Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement (Terrain)

  12. Disengage Clamps (1) (Qty: 2). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
    13. NOTE:

    Mind the different hose diameters.

  13. Remove the 2 exhaust pressure differential sensor hoses (2) from the exhaust pressure differential sensor pipes (3).
  14. Remove Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Pipe
  15. Transfer components as necessary.
