Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Pipe.
    2. Fig 1: Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Hoses And Pipes

    NOTE:

    Mind the different hose diameters.

  2. Install the 2 exhaust pressure differential sensor hoses (2) to the exhaust pressure differential sensor pipes (3).
  3. Engage Clamps (1) (Qty: 2). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  4. Install Underbody Front Air Deflector. Refer to Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement (Equinox)Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement (Terrain)
  5. Lower the vehicle.

    NOTE:

    Mind the different hose diameters.

  6. Install the 2 exhaust pressure differential sensor hoses (3) to the exhaust pressure differential sensor (1).
  7. Install NEW Clamps (2) (Qty: 2)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  8. Install and tighten Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Bracket Bolt (4) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  9. Reposition Exhaust Temperature Sensor - Position 2 (5)
  10. Install Wiring Harness Clips (1, 6) (Qty: 2) @ Bracket (3)
  11. Connect Exhaust Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (2)

  12. Install the charge air bypass regulator solenoid valve vacuum tube (2) to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve regulator solenoid valve (1).

  13. Install Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose (1) @ Throttle Body (2)
  14. Install Quick Connector Clamp (3)
