Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: EGR Valve, EGR Cooler Housing, Bolts And Gaskets

  1. Install a NEW EGR valve seat gasket (1) into the EGR cooler housing (5).
  2. Install a NEW EGR valve gasket (2).
  3. Install the EGR valve (3) to the EGR cooler housing (5).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the 2 EGR valve bolts (4) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the EGR valve wiring harness plug (2) to the EGR valve (1).
  6. Install the throttle body assembly. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
