Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect Battery Negative Cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  2. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement

  3. Remove the electrical connector (1) from the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve (2).
  4. Remove the charge air bypass regulator solenoid valve inlet tube (4) from the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve (2).
  5. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator valve hose (5).
  6. Remove the 2 exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve bolts (3).
  7. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve (2).
