Installation Procedure

  1. Install exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve (2).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install the 2 exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve bolts (3) and tighten to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
  3. Install the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator valve hose (5).
  4. Install the charge air bypass regulator solenoid valve inlet tube (4) to the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve (2).
  5. Install the electrical connector (1) to the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid valve (2).
  6. Install Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement 
  7. Connect Battery Negative Cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
