Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Outlet Pipe, Bolts And Gaskets

  1. Install NEW Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Outlet Pipe Seal (2)
  2. Install NEW Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Outlet Pipe Gasket (3)
  3. Install Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Outlet Pipe (5)
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  4. Install and tighten Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Outlet Pipe Bolts (4) (Qty: 2) @ Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler to 10 N.m (89 lb in)
  5. Install and tighten Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Outlet Pipe Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) @ Intake Manifold to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

    NOTE:

    The guide lug (1) must fit the groove.

  6. Install and tighten Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (2) to 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
  7. Connect the electrical connector. (1)
