Installation Procedure

  1. Line up the emission reduction fluid supply pump module (1) at the arrows.

  3. Install NEW O-Ring (2)
  4. Install Emission Reduction Fluid Supply Pump Module (1)

  6. Install Lock Ring (1) - CH 45722  Fuel Sender Lock Ring Wrench

  8. Connect Emission Reduction Fluid Pump Module Wiring Harness (1)
  9. Install Emission Reduction Fluid Tank. Refer to Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Replacement 
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Refill the emission reduction fluid tank, add a minimum of 9.5 liters (2.5 gallons).
  12. Bleed the emission reduction fluid system:
    1. Connect the scan tool to the vehicle.
    2. Start the emission reduction system leak test using the scan tool.
    3. Wait until the emission reduction fluid pump has reached the delivery pressure of 5 bar (72.5 psi).
    4. Stop the emission reduction system leak test using the scan tool.
    5. Remove the scan tool.
    6. If pump fails to prime disconnect the emission reduction fluid exhaust front pipe injector supply pipe. Refer to Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe Replacement (FWD) Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe Replacement (Front AWD) Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe Replacement (Rear AWD) 
    7. Start the emission reduction system leak test using the scan tool.
    8. Once fluid is present at front pipe, stop the emission reduction system leak test using the scan tool.
    9. Reconnect the emission reduction fluid exhaust front pipe injector supply pipe. Refer to Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe Replacement (FWD) Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe Replacement (Front AWD) Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe Replacement (Rear AWD) 
    10. Start the emission reduction system leak test using the scan tool.
    11. Wait until the emission reduction fluid pump has reached the delivery pressure of 5 bar (72.5 psi).
    12. Stop the emission reduction system leak test using the scan tool.
    13. Remove the scan tool.
  13. Perform the reductant fluid tank level reset. Refer to Reductant Fluid Tank Level Reset
