Installation Procedure

- Install NEW Gasket (4)
- Install Emission Reduction Fluid Injector (3)
- Install Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe Bracket (2)
- Install and tighten Emission Reduction Fluid Injector Nuts (1) (Qty: 2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe (1) @ Retainers (3) (Qty: 2)
- Connect Emission Reduction Fluid Exhaust Front Pipe Injector Supply Pipe (1) @ Emission Reduction Fluid Injector (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Check for leaks and ensure the emission reduction fluid injector joint is properly sealed.
- If replacing with NEW injector, perform the NOx Catalyst Reductant Loading Reset. Refer to NOx Catalyst Reductant Loading Reset
- Lower the vehicle.
NOTE:
A NEW emission reduction fluid injector will have a new gasket as part of assembly (POA).
