Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Intake Manifold Cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
    2. Fig 1: Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube, Bolt And Retainer Spring

  2. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Bolt (1)
  3. Release Retainer Spring (2)
  4. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (3)
  5. Disconnect harness retainer.

  6. Remove Radiator Inlet Hose (1) @ Retainer (2)
  7. Remove Underbody Front Air Deflector. Refer to Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement (Equinox)Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement (Terrain)
  8. Disconnect the cooling fan 2 wire connector and disconnect from the shroud.

  9. Release Retainer Spring (1)
    10. NOTE:

    Remove the tube from the vehicle from the top.

  10. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (2)
