Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  2. Remove Intake Manifold Cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
    3. Fig 1: Electrical Connectors

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors:
    1. Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor (1)
    2. Camshaft Position Sensor (2)
    4. Fig 2: Camshaft Position Sensor And Bolt

  4. Remove Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (2)
  5. Remove Camshaft Position Sensor (1)
