Installation Procedure

  1. Position the transmission mount strut bracket (3) to the transmission.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the four NEW transmission mount strut bracket to transmission bolts (2) and tighten to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) plus 60 to 75 degrees.
  3. Install the transmission mount strut bracket to transmission mount strut bolt (1) and tighten to 80 N.m (59 lb ft) plus 45 to 60 degrees.
  4. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
