Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission mount strut. Refer to Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (All Wheel Drive) 
    2. Fig 1: Transmission Rear Mount Strut Bracket And Bolts

  2. Remove and DISCARD the 2 transmission rear mount strut bracket to power transfer unit bolts (1, 2).
  3. Remove and DISCARD the 2 transmission rear mount strut bracket to transmission bolts (4, 5).
  4. Remove the transmission rear mount strut bracket (3) from the transmission.
