Installation Procedure

  1. Position the transmission control bracket in the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Left I/P Center Support Bracket Bolt, Automatic Transmission Control Bracket And Nuts

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the automatic transmission control nuts (2) to the automatic transmission control bracket (3) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  3. Install the left instrument panel center support bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
    4. Fig 2: Right I/P Center Support Bracket Bolt And Automatic Transmission Control Bracket

  4. Install the right instrument panel center support bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  5. Install Transmission control. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement
