Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment

  1. GM3650388

    Push the secure ring (2) against the spring force backwards.

  2. Lift the range selector lever cable retainer (1) in order to remove the mechanical connection between transmission control and transmission.
  3. Verify that the range selector lever cable lever is in position "P" by turning the range selector lever cable lever counterclockwise (arrow).
  4. GM3642905

    Verify that the transmission control lever (1) is in position "P".

  5. GM3650388

    Push the secure ring (2) against the spring force backwards.

  6. Install the range selector lever cable retainer (1) in order to install the mechanical connection between transmission control and transmission.
  7. The secure ring (2) must flip forward and secure the range selector lever cable retainer.
