Diagnostic Aids
- Most DC fast charge concerns, especially those without an accompanying DTC set, are the result of off-vehicle charge station or electrical infrastructure issues. Always verify a DC Fast charge concern by connecting to a known good charge station.
- Some off-vehicle DC Charge Stations allow for multiple vehicle connection and authorization yet they will only charge one vehicle at a time.
- DC charging requires positive locking of the charge cord to the vehicle charge receptacle. Ensure the customer is inserting the charge cord into the charge receptacle completely. Ease of insertion and locking may vary among DC Charge Stations.
