Circuit/System Verification

  1. Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify all gauge segments illuminate when performing the Driver Information Center Segments test with the scan tool.
    • If any gauge segments do not illuminate 

      Replace the P16 instrument cluster

    • If all gauge segments illuminate 
  3. Drive the vehicle.
  4. Verify the gauge values match the values on the scan tool.
    • If the values do not match 

      Reprogram the P16 Instrument Cluster.

    1. Drive the vehicle.
    2. Verify the gauge values match the values on the scan tool.
      • If the values do not match

        Replace the P16 Instrument Cluster.

      • If the values match 
  5. Replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
