Preliminary Procedure Remove Intermediate Floor Panel Carpet. Refer to Intermediate Floor Panel Carpet Replacement
1	Rear Seat Assembly Nut (Qty: 8) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Fold the seat forward. Reposition the rear outer edges of the front floor panel carpet to gain access to the nuts. Tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
2	Rear Seat Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped. Separate the rear seats if only one seat is to be removed. Refer to Rear Seat Separation . Remove the seat with the aid of an assistant; the seat is very heavy.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure
Fold the seat forward. Reposition the rear outer edges of the front floor panel carpet to gain access to the nuts.
Tighten
45 N.m (33 lb ft)

Procedure
