Action Taken When the DTC Sets

North America and Korea
- DTCs P0234 and P0299 are Type A DTCs.
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp may illuminate.
- The ECM will disable boost control and limit the system to mechanical boost only, resulting in a substantial decrease in engine power.
All other Regions
- DTCs P0234 and P0299 are Type C DTCs.
- Service Vehicle Soon indicator may illuminate.
