DTC B1770
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 and X2 harness connectors at the M51D Seat Horizontal Motor - Driver.
- Verify a test lamp turns ON between each control circuit terminal listed below and ground when commanding the Easy Entry Seat Motor - Driver (Horizontal Control) Forward with a scan tool, one at a time.
- Terminal 5 X1
- Terminal 5 X2
- If the test lamp is always OFF
- Ignition OFF, remove the test lamp, disconnect the X1 harness connector at the K23 Folding Top Control Module.
- Test for infinite resistance between the control circuit and ground.
- If less than infinite resistance, repair the short to ground on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- Test for less than 2 Ω in the control circuit end to end.
- If 2 Ω or greater, repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- If less than 2 Ω, replace the K23 Folding Top Control Module.
- Go to next step: If the test lamp turns ON
- Verify a test lamp turns ON between each control circuit terminal listed below and ground when commanding the Easy Entry Seat Motor - Driver (Horizontal Control) Rearward with a scan tool.
