Easy Entry Seat Description

The power easy entry seat function assists the rear seat passenger to enter the vehicle by moving the front seat automatically to its most forward position. The folding top control module controls both the driver and passenger seat easy entry and manual seat horizontal functions. The easy entry seat motor is a two speed application of the seat horizontal motor, high speed and low speed. The high speed function is used during the easy entry operation while the low speed function is used for manual forward and rearward horizontal seat movement. The folding top control module monitors the seat position via a hall effect sensor attached to the motor transmission cable.
