Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Do NOT disconnect the brake hoses from the calipers.
- Remove the brake caliper and bracket assembly.
- Rear Brake Rotor - Remove - Rear Brake Rotor Replacement
Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt(1) - Remove
- Wheel Speed Sensor(2) - Remove
Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly Bolt(1) - Remove and DISCARD[4x]
Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly(2) - Remove
- Rear Brake Shield(1) - Remove
CAUTION:
Support the brake caliper with heavy mechanic wire, or equivalent, whenever it is separated from its mount and the hydraulic flexible brake hose is still connected. Failure to support the caliper in this manner will cause the flexible brake hose to bear the weight of the caliper, which may cause damage to the brake hose and in turn may cause a brake fluid leak.
