Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Bolt(2) - Remove[2x]

    NOTE:

    Secure the right equalizer beam link with a heavy mechanic wire.

    { If equipped }Bolt(1) - Remove[2x]

  5. GM2684954

    Support the rear axle with a hydraulic jack.

  6. Rear Shock Absorber Bolt(2) - Remove and DISCARD[2x]

    Rear Spring(1) - Remove

  8. GM2189306

    Rear Spring Insulator Upper(1) - Remove

  9. Rear Spring Insulator Lower(2) - Remove
  10. GM3952868
    NOTE:

    Use suitable tools.

    Remove the rear spring lower seat (1).
