Front Suspension Strut Yoke Rear Bushing Replacement

Front Suspension Strut Yoke Rear Bushing Removal

1. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
2. Steering Knuckle Bolt - Remove - Lower Control Arm Replacement 
3. Put aside the lower control arm from the front suspension strut yoke.
4. NOTE:

   It is not necessary to remove the front suspension strut yoke from the vehicle. Part is shown dismounted for the sake of clarity.

   Mark the installation position.@Front Suspension Strut Yoke(1)

5. NOTE:

   It is not necessary to remove the front suspension strut yoke from the vehicle. Part is shown dismounted for the sake of clarity.

   Install the CH-50969  remover/installer in the shown order to remove the front suspension strut yoke rear bushing.

   1. CH-50969-5-2  nut (4) - Install
   2. CH-50969-1  bushing (3) - Install
   3. CH-50969-2  bushing (2) - Install
   4. KM-907-30-B  spindle (1) - Install
6. Press the CH-50969-1  bushing (3) against the front suspension strut yoke rear bushing (5) to separate the front suspension strut yoke rear bushing from the front suspension strut yoke.

Front Suspension Strut Yoke Rear Bushing Installation

1. NOTE:

   It is not necessary to remove the front suspension strut yoke from the vehicle. Part is shown dismounted for the sake of clarity.

   Install the CH-50969  remover/installer in the shown order to install the new front suspension strut yoke rear bushing.

   1. CH-50969-5-2  nut (4) - Install
   2. CH-50969-4  bushing (3) - Install
   3. CH-50969-3  bushing (2) - Install
   4. KM-907-30-B  spindle (1) - Install
2. Press the CH-50969-3  (2) against the front suspension strut yoke rear bushing (5) to install the front suspension strut yoke rear bushing to the front suspension strut yoke.
3. Position the lower control arm to the front suspension strut yoke.
4. Steering Knuckle Bolt - Install - Lower Control Arm Replacement 
5. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
