Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

    NOTE:

    Never fit the tire pressure indicator sensor on unapproved wheel rims.

    NOTE:

    Whenever the tire will be removed from the rim, install a new dust cap, valve core, nut and seal. Do not reuse the old parts.

    Dust Cap (1) - Remove and DISCARD

  4. Valve Core (2) - Remove and DISCARD
  5. Dismount the tire from the rim on the valve side.

    Nut(1) - Remove and DISCARD

  7. Remove the tire pressure sensor.(2)

    NOTE:

    Change the seal with a plastic tool.

    Seal(1) - Remove and DISCARD
