Component Testing

Ignition/Vehicle - Off
Remove the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
Verify a condition does not exist with the component: Contamination with metallic debris
- If a condition exists
  Repair or replace as necessary.
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
Verify the resistance is within the specified range for each solenoid valve. - Refer to:Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection
- If the resistance is not within range
  Replace the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
- Go to next step: If the resistance is within range
Install the special tool: DT-48616-10 Adapter Harness@Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly & Vehicle wiring harness X1
Connect the electrical connector: B15 Transmission Internal Mode Switch
Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Perform the scan tool control function: Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 - On and Off
Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status = OK or Not Run
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status = OK or Not Run
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 Control Circuit Open Test Status = OK or Not Run
- If not the specified state
  Replace the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
- Go to next step: If the specified state
All OK.
