Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter: ISS/OSS Supply Voltage=OK
- If not the specified state

- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Raise and support the vehicle.CAUTION:
Support the lower control arms in the normal horizontal position in order to avoid damage to the drive axles. Do not operate the vehicle in gear with the wheels hanging down at full travel.
- Start and idle the engine.
- Transmission in Drive
- Increase the engine speed slowly to 3, 000 RPM and then back to idle. - Shift through all forward gears
Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission OSS = The value should change smoothly and gradually as the vehicle speed is increased and decreased.
- If the value does not change smoothly and gradually

- Go to next step: If the value changes smoothly and gradually
- If the value does not change smoothly and gradually
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
