Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. GM2192646

    Open the cap (2) of the brake caliper vibration damper (1), to gain access to the internal torx.

  3. GM2192643

    Remove the brake caliper vibration damper (2) from the brake caliper vibration damper stud (1).

    Hold against internal torx of damper stud (1).

  4. Remove the damper stud (1) from the rear brake.
