Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install the damper stud (1) to the rear brake and tighten to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).

  2. Attach the brake caliper vibration damper (2) to the stud (1) by turn in 2 threads ONLY.
  3. Tighten the brake caliper vibration damper (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in) with a suitable tool.
  4. GM2192646

    Close the cap (2) of the brake caliper vibration damper (1).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
