Procedure

  1. DT-47805  Seal Protector prevents the piston seal lip from damage during installation. Apply a thin coat of ATF to the I.D. of DT-47805  Seal Protector to ease the installation of the piston.
  2. DT-47951-2  Spring Compressor - 6T40/45/50 or DT-48903  Spring Compressor - 6T30 can be used as a pusher if necessary.
