Removal Procedure

  1. GM2918397

    Remove 4 front bumper fascia upper bolts (1).

  2. GM2918399

    Remove 4 front wheelhouse liner bolts - left side (1).

  3. Remove 4 front wheelhouse liner bolts - right side.

    Remove 4 front bumper fascia retainers (1).

  5. GM2918401

    Loosen the front bumper lower impact bar bolts (1).

  6. GM2918402

    Pull the front bumper fascia (1) carefully outward and use a plastic trim tool in order to release the retaining tabs from front bumper fascia guides. Use care when removing the fascia. Fascia might rip apart if forced.

  7. Disconnect any electrical connectors.

    With the aid of an assistant remove the front bumper fascia (1)
