Installation Procedure

  1. Transfer or replace parts as needed.
  2. Check the application foil at the front fender. If not equipped or damaged, install or replace the application foil. Refer to Front Fender Replacement .
  3. GM2918403

    With the aid of an assistant install the front bumper fascia (1).

  4. Carefully push in the retaining tabs of front bumper fascia into the front bumper fascia guides.
  5. Connect any electrical connectors.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Tighten the front bumper lower impact bar bolts (1) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

  7. GM2918400

    Install 4 front bumper fascia retainers (1).

  8. GM2918399

    Install and tighten 4 front wheelhouse liner bolts (1) - left side to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  9. Install and tighten 4 front wheelhouse liner bolts (1) - right side to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
  10. GM2918397

    Install 4 front bumper fascia upper bolts (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
